Glitter Nails

I tried these French Manicure glitter nails from Sally Hansen for a Mardi Gras ball and I really love them! I thought they were going to be a pain to put on because there are two pieces, the glitter tip and the clear coat but they were fairly easy. You do need a steady hand to make sure the tips are on straight but I give this product a 4 out of 5 stars. It would have gotten 5 but a few of them started to chip after a few days and they are supposed to last 7-10 days. I think it's because I didn't use the right size for some fingers and they didn't cover my nail completely.

ESSIE Nails

Essie's new sleek nail sets are among my favorite nail stickers. The shades and patterns are chic and wearable. The problem I have with the Sally Hansen version is the prints and shades are a little too much. Essie's prints are much more subtle and the colors seem to be less obnoxious. I can't wait to try out the stickers and stones (grey with silver stones in the center).  They run about $10 a set and you can get them at Ulta or most drugstores. 

Retro Waves

Old Hollywood is back! These retro wave hairstyles were all over the red carpet at the 2013 Golden Globes. I really think this is going to continue to be a huge trend in 2013 and why wouldn't it be? These ladies look absolutely stunning. This hairstyle is truly timeless because it compliments any face shape, age, or hair length.
